OverviewSenior Specialist, Knowledge Management (Private Equity) role at Bain & Company.We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world's best places to work.We are currently the #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor's list since its founding in ****.Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don't happen by chance.They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment.We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.WHO YOU'LL WORK WITHYou'll join the Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) department as part of the Knowledge Management team and you'll work with a variety of different Practices at Bain, broadening your skillset and leveraging industry knowledge across various industries and capabilities."Practices" are how we group and organize our solutions and products based on our clients' industry or business function.They're integral to how we win and deliver results to our clients and are a key strategic priority within our firm.The Knowledge Management team is critical to harnessing the best of our consulting staffs' individual and collective expertise, making it possible for us to deliver extraordinary results for our clients.The Private Equity Group (PEG) supports Bain's clients across the entire deal value chain, serving as a trusted advisor to PE Funds and portfolio company management.The role reports to the Global PEG Knowledge Manager.ResponsibilitiesEquip Partners in the firm and consulting staff with relevant expertise and resource recommendationsProvide value-added front-line support to case teams by sharing curated "best of" Bain content, experience and perspectivesIdentify and connect experts within the Bain network to consulting teamsCollaborate with our Information Services or Practice Centers of Excellence, to collectively provide consultants the best consolidated view of our internal and external knowledgeDevelop and package summary documents and provide updated or bespoke analysisLead the capture and sharing of the practice knowledge baseCapture and process knowledge onto our global intranet platform from client development and case team effortsCoordinate with other Knowledge Specialists to identify cross practice content priorities and identify gaps in the knowledge baseCommunicate with case teams and practice affiliates to understand work and solicit most relevant contentManage metadata to facilitate user searching.Manage inputs to improve advanced analytics and AI outputPackage and codify our best thinking into insightsCollaborate with practice team members to fill content gaps through new product development and deploymentManage and maintain practice page(s) on the intranet; ensuring our best materials are represented and sharedOversee Knowledge Associate in managing and maintaining the knowledge baseUse AI tools to accomplish portions of the role.Experiment with new and existing AI tools to improve work processesContribute to the development and execution of the practice strategyAnalyze, understand and interpret underlying drivers of practice performanceSupport content planning and logistics for annual practice meetingsDrive practice affiliate engagement, including preparation for experience-sharing calls and publicationsActively contribute to the practice and broader PPK teamParticipate in (and sometimes lead) global team trainings, group projects, experience sharing, mentoring, and other initiativesAssign, review, and provide feedback on junior practice member's work, who are often located in another Bain office.Manage day to day workplan for junior team members and provide coaching and developmentQualificationsBA or equivalent undergraduate degree with strong academic credentialsPreferred 3+ years of professional experienceYou're intellectually curious and excited to learn more about Private EquityYou have strong analytical abilities and experience bringing innovative and 'outside the box' approaches to problem solvingYou enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment, and you have the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesAttentive to detail and very organized.You're known for your high-quality workYou are a regular user of AI tools and have a growth mindset about their useYou can self-motivate and work autonomously, while appreciating guided coaching and collaborative teamingSuperior customer service attitudeYou keep a positive mindset and high levels of energy and enthusiasmStrong communication and presentation skills.You can engage with senior business executives and team with colleagues across the globe and in different time zonesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAnalystIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
