Key Leadership Role in Casino OperationsThe position of Casino Manager Assistant plays a pivotal part in the effective management of casino operations.Working closely with the Casino Manager, you will oversee the daily activities, maintain compliance with gaming regulations, and ensure exceptional guest relations.Requirements for this key role include:- A minimum of one year's experience as a Senior Casino Supervisor with consistently high performance ratings, preferably gained within the shipping industry.- One to two years of progressive supervisory experience in a casino function within resorts, cruise lines, and hotels.- The ability to make informed decisions based on sound judgment regarding rules and regulations.- Attention to detail is crucial in observing and recognizing payout accuracy, dealer behavior, and associated activities.- Successful completion of a Gaming Board/Commission-approved dealer school program is mandatory.- Effective financial management skills are required, including identifying expense reduction opportunities through cost efficiencies and revenue growth through promotional and up-selling activities.You must also manage headcount within your area to support the business needs of the vessel.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for providing outstanding customer service, assessing customer needs, and evaluating customer satisfaction.- Familiarity with human resources policies and practices is necessary to manage international staff effectively.This includes motivating, developing, and managing employees, as well as administering the disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling.- A working knowledge of computer systems, the Internet, and software packages such as Excel and Word is essential.- A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or an international equivalent, is preferred.
