Sr. Process Engineer Molding

We are constantly looking to add to our core talent.If you are seeking a career that is challenging and rewarding, a work environment that is diverse and dynamic, look no further — Haemonetics is your employer of choice.Job Details- Process observation, development, and documentation of molding processes utilizing scientific methodology - Enhancing the technical development of the processes in the Molding department.- Write validation protocols and reports Execute molding validation IQ, OQ and PQ.- Perform statistical data analysis, DOE, etc.- Collaborate with Engineering to enhance and debug processes, tooling, and new / transfer products.- Perform factory acceptance testing.- Manage mold build and transfer projects.- Perform supplier audits.- Mold verification, sample process development, mold changes, and set-ups.- Molding process and equipment optimization, using scientific molding principles.Problem analysis and resolution.- Drive process improvements (i.e. set-up time reduction, scrap reduction) and increased throughputs.- Process troubleshooting on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.- Lead cost savings projects.- Work closely with, and communicate with, all other production and support teams.- Responsible for start-up, process verification, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any issues related to injection molding processes or the associated equipment.- Documents and communicates with other Process Technicians, Process Engineers and Shift Supervisor results of problem solving and any deviations from established methods or procedures that may be necessary to resolve specific issues.- Supports Process Engineers in development of process parameters and process improvements.- Analyze operations for possible improvements in methods, procedures, or design.Recommend such improvements to the ME.- Purchase molding machines, auxiliary and support equipment - Communicate with U.S. suppliers.- Sets-up, maintains and troubleshoots injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment (i.e. temperature controllers, water tower, chiller, robots, etc.).- Makes required machine and equipment control adjustments to maintain proper quality and cycle efficiency.Recommends procedural changes to improve machine efficiency and operation.- Communicates effectively with leads, supervisors, machine operators and supporting departments (i.e. Purchasing and Quality).May initiate meetings, as needed, to solve quality or machine problems.- Complies with all local, state, federal and Haemonetics safety regulations, policies and procedures.- Follows all applicable standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions and/or standing instructions.- Provides instruction and training to personnel in the proper methods and techniques of operation and use of production machines and equipment.- Accurately performs start up and shut down procedures on molding machinery and robots.- EEO Policy StatementPay Transparency: Residents of certain locations, including Colorado and New York City, may be entitled to additional information about the potential range of compensation and benefits associated with this position.If you believe you may be entitled to such information by law, you may contactConditions of Employment: Haemonetics's requires COVID-19 vaccination for all U.S. employees who work in the presence of other colleagues or customers, unless the employee is approved for a medical or religious exemption, pursuant to applicable law.While we recognize employees have their own individual beliefs and perspectives regarding vaccination, we believe it is an important step as part of our obligation to protect our colleagues, customers and communities as we continue to make health and safety our top priority.
