Quality Engineer

**What will you do?**Support vehicle engineering in the Implementation of the Quality Requirements.Monitor consistency to Global Metric Definitions and Performance.Maintain documentation of Launch Manufacturing Quality Readiness Reviews.Actively participate in Plant Quality Manager Meetings & Launch Quality Manager Meetings.**Responsibilities**- Manage projects as requested from Quality Shop Director.- Executive Leadership in a subtle and professional manner.- Present the Assembly Plant and Engineering Staff with clear problem definition, technical mentorship on complex problems, and regular updates on progress.- Proficiency and knowledge of the elements of the GM Quality- Support Launch of new products in the plant when applicable.- Maintain updates to Quality Requirements- Maintain Quality Requirement deviations from plants.- Maintain Cost of Quality reports by Plant- Creation and management of work teams to achieve solutions within the core business- Facilitate the review of the quality wall on the PPO vehicle- Line support and process assistance- Ensure that a quality evaluation is conducted and that all issues are contained/resolved.- Manage the captured test fleet and handle all issues to be contained/resolved.Participate in CPIT meetings and drive JD Power and warranty improvement initiatives.Prepare program updates for Product Development Quality Leadership.- 4 Core Business Areas: Supplier quality assurance at the plant, warranty issue attention and resolution management, RED X analysis and production line support.**Job Title**- JR-********* Quality Engineer (N7)**Work**Appropriately**On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis**Additional Job Description****Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any other related engineering field or equivalent experience.- 3 to 5 years of experience- English Advanced- Tools & Skills: PRTS, CPTS, RED X, ISO ****, QMS (Quality Management System), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), 3D Modeling - NX**Preferred Qualifications**:- Ability to coach, teach and audit elements of GM Quality Manual and GMS BIQ Principle and Elements.- Proficiency and knowledge of the requirements in the Global Quality Manual.- Managerial Courage to provide direct, honest, constructive feedback to Plant Staffs- Teamwork and collaboration / Effective communication- Strategic planning- Research analysis and development- Self-driven / Results-orientedIn case you need any reasonable adjustment to continue with your process, let your recruiter know."General Motors is committed to being a workplace that is not only free of unlawful discrimination, but one that genuinely fosters inclusion and belonging.
