OverviewAs a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll see the real-world impact of your work in the lives of nursing students, educators, and ultimately patients.You'll design test scenarios, automate quality checks, and collaborate across teams to ensure the reliability and excellence of our digital products.We are a small, independent engineering team within Elsevier, located in Bosnia and the United States.We maintain and extend one of Elsevier's leading nursing health education web applications, helping faculty create engaging, focused learning experiences through custom quizzes and Elsevier's extensive content library.We value diversity, ownership, and open communication and work in a collaborative environment where technical excellence is paired with a strong sense of purpose.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute automated and manual test scenarios.Use test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.Conduct performance testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.Collaborate with distributed teams and communicate effectively.Apply CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins.Use version control systems such as Git.Track bugs and manage tests using JIRA and other tools.Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.Requirements5–8+ years of professional quality engineering experience.Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS).Proficiency in API and performance testing tools.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.Strong analytical and communication skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.Work in a Way That Works for YouWe support a healthy work/life balance and offer flexible work arrangements.You'll participate in regular team meetings and development rituals while enjoying the autonomy to focus and create in your own space.We offer wellbeing initiatives, parental leave, and opportunities for professional growth.BenefitsPrivate Medical/Dental PlanSavings FundLife InsuranceMeal/Grocery VoucherAbout The BusinessElsevier is a global leader in information and analytics, helping researchers and healthcare professionals advance science and improve health outcomes.We combine quality content with powerful technology to support education, research, and clinical decision-making.Join us and be part of a team that's shaping the future of health education and care.#J-*****-Ljbffr
