**Summary**:To plan and lead Category initiatives for a clearly defined sub-category within the Patient Support Services for the biggest market in Americas; to develop the sub-category strategy as part of the wider Category Strategy; to lead proactive sourcing projects, specification definition and demand management, as well as manage sub-category-specific supplier performance and innovation activities.About The RoleLocation: Mexico City#Hybrid**About the Role**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Lead the implementation of sourcing plans for the sub category and deliver productivity targets following engagement in the target setting process.- Provide input into the overall Category and sub-category strategy about segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships, and lead business planning activities and ensure these projects are executed on a timely basis in line with the targeted goals.- Manage strategic supplier relationships, and implement consistent key performance indicators for the sub-category, ensuring that any supplier performance risks and issues are resolved on a timely basis to end user satisfaction.- Manage stakeholders ecosystem.- Collect supplier information and feedback from Category teams and Business Partners, and deliver Procurement Balanced Scorecard metrics for the relevant sub category.- Review major contracts for the sub category, and ensure that negotiated contracts are clearly communicated for the sub-category area and that they are consistently applied.- Contribute to talent development of team members.- ** Essential Requirements**:- Procurement Functional Breadth.- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Management or a related field.- Pharma / Patients Services / Regulatory Experience.- Cross Cultural exposure.Cross functional working environment experience.- North America Market Experience.Project Management.- Effective Communication, Influencing and Persuading,.Strategic Thinking and Planning.Analytical thinking- Internal And External Customer Needs Analysis- Advanced English**Commitment to Inclusion**Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.DivisionOperationsBusiness UnitCTSLocationMexicoSiteINSURGENTESCompany / Legal EntityMX06 (FCRS = MX006) Novartis Farmacéutica S.A. de C.V.Functional AreaProcurementJob TypeFull timeEmployment TypeRegularShift WorkNo**Accessibility and accommodation**:Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams' representative of the patients and communities we serve.
