Intercompany Design Lead

OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Intercompany Design Lead to join our team. This role demands deep expertise in SAP S4 Hana, particularly in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), master data management (GL accounts, Business Partners, Customer and Vendor Master), and intercompany netting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will lead system design and implementation efforts, ensuring alignment with global standards and local compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end system implementation projects including requirements gathering, design, data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and user training.Take ownership of e-reporting compliance (finance digital mandates), ensuring alignment with AFM and internal/external policies.Act as the subject matter expert for complex SAP system functionalities and troubleshoot issues independently.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and global teams (Tax, IT, Controllers) to deliver compliant, country-specific solutions while ensuring best-practice business designs.Drive system and process improvements, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.Lead feasibility studies, system analysis, and change impact assessments to support financial operations.Conduct quality assurance and lead system testing to validate solution accuracy and reliability.Provide advanced training and support to end-users and internal teams.Generate innovative ideas to address business challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Manage and contribute to large-scale, complex projects with minimal supervision, applying advanced subject knowledge and sound judgment.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).12+ years of professional experience, preferably in finance, system design, or process improvement.Proven expertise with the SAP S4 Hana platform.Preferred CertificationsPMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Certified Financial Systems ProfessionalSkills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP financial systems and processesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in system analysis, SDLC, and business systems analysisHands-on experience in SQL and automation toolsProfessional Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder managementStrong presentation and training delivery skillsProject management expertise for complex, multi-functional initiativesAbility to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independentlyDemonstrated innovation and process improvement mindsetMethodologies & Tools: Agile & Scrum; Business Process & Requirements Analysis; Workflow & Data Analysis; SAP Applications; User Stories and Use Case DesignAbout ApTaskApTask is a leading global provider of workforce solutions and talent acquisition services, dedicated to shaping the future of work.
