The **IT Data and Analytics Product Owner**collaborates with an agile team to facilitate data analytics solutions development and implementation.This role is responsible for: managing the product backlog for its Agile team, work with business owners to maximize the value of the product delivered, executing technical PO activities in support of IT Data projects and strategies at IO level including Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Brazil and US.This role acts as an intermediary between the technical community and the business community working with IT project teams and business clients**Temporary Position: 6 Months**- Accountable for creating stories/PBIs and the description and Acceptance Criteria.- Collaborate with business teams to define product backlog and align opportunities with IO Strategic Priorities.- Lead the prioritization and management of the product backlog in partnership with business stakeholders.- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap.- Ensures there are 2 sprints of ready backlog for the Agile team- Partners with other IT development teams to align Data Analytics solutions required and for project delivery- Manages stakeholder and sponsor expectations- Has a solid understanding of overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to establish the team's specific tasks.- Interfaces directly with senior management when required.- Takes a "hands on" approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken.- Collaborates with the stakeholders to quantify the impact for each feature delivered- Acts proactively to consistently deliver on commitments with little supervision- Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Informatics, Business Intelligence preferred).- Availability to travel internationally for business purposes.- +3 Years of Product Owner experience in Data and Analytics, Data Warehousing and Reporting.- Fluent in Spanish & English (Portuguese desirable).- Experience in Automotive Financial sector is desirable.- Thorough understanding of Vision/Roadmap creation, Porftolio/Program/Team Backlog creation, refinement and prioritization.- Working knowledge of the Agile/SAFe Lean enterprise concepts and best practices and how they are applied in the workplace.- Advanced problem solver who can clearly identify, analyze and resolve issues as they arise.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously- Proficient presentation skillsProficient persuasive and negotiation skillsAt GM Financial we want you to be the most authentic version of yourself.We take care of your work-life balance by programming wellness and integration activities, where you will strengthen your relationships with peers and contribute towards the development and wellbeing of your community, while providing you with a competitive salary and benefits.Some of our global benefits include Extended Maternity & Paternity Leaves, Personal Days & Community Investment hours.
