A Career at HARMANAs a technology leader that is rapidly on the move, HARMAN is filled with people who are focused on making life better.Innovation, inclusivity and teamwork are a part of our DNA.When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you'll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.Your Team- This position will require supervisor responsibilities and competences for Diagnostic Technicians, Repair operators, Test Technicians & Test Engineers roles.- Actively support to the others engineering areas.- Provide technical support to Manufacturing engineering.- Manage and guidance test engineers and technicians.- Define and Review new KPI and standards.What You Will Do- Drive and maintain design for Test guidelines into new product designs, ensuring optimized test coverage and cost and identify development activities.- Work with external manufacturing partners to define production testing requirements, validation plans for tests systems, and defining their ongoing monitoring and verification activities- Drive continuous improvement in the way the test systems are developed and managed and ensure that the personnel using the test facilities receive adequate training and support.- Provide technical expertise & support to engineering and production teams.- Analyze project/internal requirements and specifications and translates these into test development specifications.- Develop and monitor development of test equipment design and test fixtures design to ensure accuracy and standardization in product testing.- Responsible to work with ENG test team during NPI test definition and development when required.- Responsible to support CFT to reduce false defects on testers, though continuous improvement.- Support and participate on activities drive by HPS, such 5'S, KAIZEN, OTHERs.- Able to detect or perform a methodic troubleshooting to the test equipment.- Propose Test equipment improvements.- Able to report daily activities to the leader.- Equipment installation and Validation protocol.- Ensure that the test software meets with the customer requirements.- Able to use all digital platform used into Harman system such as SAP, Winchill, Agile.- Test equipment capacity study.- Create Work Instructions.- Track and meet Plant & Individual KPI ´s- Define and management AME Test area CAPEX- Evaluate and proceed to buy new or replace current test equipment.- Ensure that all Test internal procedure are followed by test engineers and technician.- Project timeline leader.- Test NPI and project management.What You Need- Integrity, Innovation, Inclusion, Teamwork and respect, Excellence.- Knowledge in electronic design for testability requirement.- Knowledge in LabVIEW/Test Stand/Process Model test development platform or equivalent platform for test development.- Knowledge of different electrical manufacturing test strategies.- Education: MS in electrical engineering or computer engineering.Would consider a bachelor's degree with proper experience.- Experience: 10 or more years' experience in electronics testing in high mix products.- Knowledge ISO **** ISO *****, UL, CCC.Desire Qualifications:- Bachelor in Electronics Engineering.Demonstrated Control/digital knowledge.- High knowledge on Digital and Analog electronic design.- CAD file rendering.CAD file program editors.Use of Gerber, X-Y, BOM files- PLC, DIO, DAQ programming and protocol.- Programming skill on CAN, LIN bus protocol.- NI LabView, certificate on CORE 1,2,3 at least (preferred).- Experience on PCBA troubleshooting at component level.- Able to use measuring instrumentation such as Vernier, micrometer, oscilloscope, audio analyzer, multimeter, LCR.- Able to read Drawings and Schematic files.- FCT/EOL Programming, Development, and deployment.- DFT report analysis.Able to use DFT software (Testway, Valor, FAB, etc).- Able to perform Equipment's validation trough to run Gage R&R, use an adequate Statistics tool to ensure an optimal equipment operation.What is Nice to Have?- Demonstrated skill on SQL/ Java/ Phyton script development.- Database development and MES integration.- Boundary Scan programming and debugging.- Quality Systems and Standards (VDA, UL, ISO *********, ***** and AIAG Manuals).- Follow and lead 8D's, Core Tools and Six Sigma.- Interpersonal skills- Computer Knowledge.- English 90%- Key competencies: Leadership, Collaboration, Change orientation, Judgment, Results driven.What Makes You Eligible- Willingness to work in an office.- Willingness to work in an area of production.- Willingness to travel- Willingness to supervise technical team.HARMAN is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race,color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin,disability or Protect
