Purpose of Position.Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations.Becomes actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems.Manages projects to improve overall efficiency.Coordinate and lead logistics supervisors all shifts, monitor logistics metrics.Ambassador of 5s and Safety.There could be other warehousing and distribution activities required as needed and assigned by management.Responsibilities and tasks of the position.Administers and executes policies and procedures that affect individual employeesMonitor and analyze metrics data such as verified pallets, shipped pallets, loaded trucks, shipped trucks, over time, absenteeism; review trends of operation metrics and provide an action plan to meet goalsCoordinates and leads activities with logistics supervisors, facilitates RCS and solves complex problemsMeets goals within established criteria (time, cost, quality), and makes resource allocation decisionsInteracts with others at same level, and one level above and below, to ensure effective communicationMaintains and ensures confidentiality of information / materialsLead and ensures projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedulesProvides coaching and mentoring to employeesLeads department talent planning processPerforms area inspections and audits as required to ensure housekeeping and safety violations are non-existentContinued focus on providing a safe work environment in alignment with EHS guidelinesMeet all internal and external security, safety and trade compliance regulationsEducationBachelor's degree (Mechanical, Industrial or Supply Chain related)Work ExperiencePreferably 3-5 years experience in manufacturing or Warehouse & Distribution (Shipping / Receiving / Inventory Control / Supervisor / Leadership role)Preferably 1-3 years experience as supervisorSAP knowledgePreferent C-TPAT, NEEC, cycle counts, domestic and international carrier managementPreferent experience on worked with Border-Crossing / US Carriers5's & Safety cultureAdditional Skills80% English preferred, fully bilingualMicrosoft office knowledge (Excel, Word & Power Point)Driving for ResultsDeveloping TalentSolving Complex ProblemsSetting ObjectivesProject managementBuilding and supporting teamsTipo de puesto : Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario : $40 - $60 al mesHorario: Diurno#J-*****-Ljbffr
