The Deputy Counsel is an intermediate position responsible for managing a variety of day-to-day legal activities in coordination with the Legal team.The overall objective of this role is to provide legal support, advice and guidance across a broad range of practice areas.**Responsibilities**:- Evaluate employee performance and provide recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.- Supervise external counsel and resolve issues, escalating to manager as needed- Provide legal advice in one area of practice within a product, country or business- Analyze documentation against regulatory requirements and internal policies to advise business accordingly- Produce internal and external documents containing strategic recommendations with respect to matters managed for senior attorneys/country counsel review- Execute tasks that support the fulfillment of the Firm's overall obligations and responsibilities**Qualifications**:- 2-5 years of relevant experience- Juris Doctorate preferred- Relevant experience preferably from another bank or law firm- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state and federal laws and practices- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication- Proven analytical and organizational skills**Education**:- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.- Principales funciones: Cobertura nacional del segmento CCB, responsable de:- asesoría legal e instrumentación de operaciones de crédito, refinanciamiento y mejora de estructuras del segmento CCB- supervisar a los asesores legales externos en la instrumentación de contratos de crédito- coordinación del servicio legal (planeación de indicadores, métricas, seguimiento, estandarización de proceso y criterios, identificación de riesgos y controles)- representación y atención a los foros y comités de crédito y de administración de portafolio- enlace con el equipo de recuperación- apoyo en la revisión e implementación de nuevos modelos de productos y estándares de contratación- administración y seguimiento de proceso de auditoría a proveedores externos- administración y seguimiento a gasto externo**Requisitos**:- ** CV ADJUNTO**:- **Abogado titulado**:- Conocimiento de derecho corporativo, societario, civil, mercantil y notarial- Inglés escrito y hablado intermedio/fluido- Conocimiento de paquetería de office- Habilidades de organización, análisis y resolución de problemas- **Job Family Group**:Legal- **Job Family**:Legal - Product- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.View the **EEO is the Law Supplement**.View the **EEO Policy Statement**.View the **Pay Transparency Posting
