We are looking for a Software Engineer – Android to join our team on a hybrid basis. This is a full‑time exempt position. Responsibilities Responsible for coding in Kotlin, Java and SQLite. Applies design changes to be reviewed by senior level team members. Assists in larger coding projects as needed. Performs unit testing to confirm code is working properly. Assists in ensuring all results of testing and configurations are properly integrated into Azure DevOps. Performs Integration Testing to ensure components are functioning properly as needed. Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary. Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self‑protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIP). Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner. Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 0‑2 years of experience preferred that includes the following: Kanban or SCRUM agile methodology, building self‑contained, reusable, and testable modules and components, building cloud‑based infrastructure, proficiency with Kotlin, Java and SQLite, minimum 2 years in Android. Skills / Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication. Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment. Must be able to work in a team environment.
