ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:The Data and Analytics team at TelevisaUnivision for VIX Streaming is looking for a Data QA Engineer to join our teamWe are looking for an experienced Data QA engineer who will be working in the streaming organization and interacting with both internal data engineering and analytics teams and external enterprise data engineering teams to build next generation data quality solutions on the GCP and Snowflake.This is an exciting opportunity to work with high volume, high velocity streaming analytical data and to build data quality testing scenarios using DBT on BigQuery and Snowflake.This position reports to the Senior Director of Data Engineering for streaming transformation and visualization.ABOUT YOU:- Ability to thrive in a high pressure and rapidly changing, less structured environment- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain focus and confidentiality- Strong collaboration and relationship building ability- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Full professional proficiency in EnglishYOUR DAY-TO-DAY:- Collaborate with development leads and data engineers to define analysis strategy and test plans to ensure quality delivery- Define, build, automate, execute testing for code in an agile practice and according to the sprint planning- Build, manage, and maintain unit/integration/regression tests using DBT on Snowflake and BigQuery- Troubleshoot issues found during development and testing- Design, monitor and maintain QA reports, KPIs and quality trends for internal data systems- Communicates accurately the status and risks for on-going work and timelinesYOU HAVE:- 5 or more years of experience in data QA engineering- Bachelor's / Master's degree or Equivalent- Demonstrated knowledge of building and owning data quality pipelines- Demonstrated expert level experience with BigQuery and Snowflake- Demonstrated expert level experience of DBT- Demonstrated expert level experience of SQL, Python- Demonstrated expert level understanding of Looker- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Familiarity with git and CI/CD deploymentUnivision es un empleador que ofrece equidad e igualdad de oportunidades.Todos los solicitantes calificados recibirán consideración para el empleo sin distinción de sexo, identidad de género, orientación sexual, raza, color, religión, origen nacional, discapacidad, estado de veterano protegido, edad o cualquier otra característica protegida por la ley.
