Electrical Project Engineer

Electrical Senior Associate in Engineering Projects With 8 or more years of experience in the design of power, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial special technologies facilities such as Data Centers, Semiconductors, EV, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage plants. The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale industrial projects, including power distribution (medium and low voltage), lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and grounding systems. Modeling of Industrial and Power Systems / Power Quality Analysis / Electrical Network Calculations. Manage and execute design deliverables using Revit / BIM platforms, applying company standards for model quality and coordination. Perform and review load calculations, short‑circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis using industry software. Ensure electrical designs align with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local jurisdictional requirements). Serve as discipline lead on complex projects planning tasks, overseeing junior engineers/designers, and reviewing design documentation for accuracy. Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to deliver coordinated, efficient building designs. Participate in client engagement: define project scope, present design progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Develop or review technical specifications and cost estimates. Mentor emerging designers and engineers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing. Support project management and business development activities as needed. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 8 - 12 (eight to twelve) of relevant electrical design experience within the AEC industry, with a focus on large specialized industrial facilities (Data Centers, Semiconductors, EV, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage plants). Prior experience with equipment selection / sizing and protection / conduit cable trail calculations / line circuit protection / load calculations / line and distribution / flow calculations / lighting controls / low voltage distribution / emergency systems. Technical software experience (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SINCAL). Familiarity with NFPA 70 code. Understanding of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable energy codes. Conversational English level (Reporting to US) Prior semiconductor industry, battery manufacturing and EV experience. Familiarity with Deltek Master Pack (MasterSpec). Prior experience with UPS Systems and photovoltaic (plus). Locations We have 2 offices in Mexico; you can be based at either one.
