Brief DescriptionWe are seeking a Civil 3D Drafter for our Mexico City office.About Knight PiésoldKnight Piésold is a specialized international consulting firm offering engineering and environmental services in Mining, Environment, Hydropower, and Water Resources.We are proud of the longstanding relationships we have with our clients and delivery of exceptional services on a global scale.Why Join Knight Piésold?You will be joining a reputable, well-established global consulting firm with nearly 100 years of industry experience.We believe in the One Team approach, with everyone working together toward achieving a shared goal.Our engineers develop their skills through working on diverse projects, our knowledge-sharing culture, a career mentoring program, and collaborating with top professionals in the industry.We offer unique opportunities with projects around the world to take you on a career-enhancing experience and adventure.About The JobThe CIVIL 3D Drafter is responsible for the creation, modification, and/or maintenance of technical drawings and 2D and 3D models using CAD and CIVIL 3D software.This role is essential in supporting the engineering and design team, ensuring that documentation and technical drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications and applicable regulations.The CIVIL 3D Drafter will work directly under technical leads to produce integrated designs for all aspects of Civil Design for heavy earthworks projects including: dams, channels, roads, spillways, excavations, stacks, reinforced concrete and basin regrading.ResponsibilitiesCreate 2D/3D drawings for construction of earthworks structures including plans, sections and details.Review and update technical drawings in accordance with changes requested by clients, technical team.Ensure all drawings and documentation are current and adhere to industry standards and quality requirements.Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure that technical drawings meet project requirements.Participate in coordination meetings to discuss designs and propose optimized solutions.Preparation of Material Quantity Estimates.Creation of profiles and sections for geotechnical stability and hydraulic analyses.Review of technical specifications and design documentation for incorporation into drawings.RequiredTechnical degree or bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil or Mechanical).Minimum of 3 years of experience using CIVIL 3D software for the creation of engineering structures.Proficiency in CAD with ability to use all technical aspects and supporting software.Ability to read, interpret, and create detailed construction or technical design drawings.Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards in the field (e.G., ISO, local building codes).Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated capability to work cooperatively within multidisciplinary teams.Bilingual in Spanish and English.#J-*****-Ljbffr
