OverviewWe’re hiring a Senior Firmware Engineer (Security‑Focused) to join Flex’s engineering team supporting Xylem/Sensus, a global leader in smart metering technologies for water and energy.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement embedded security protocols (RSA, ECC, AES, Secure Boot, firmware signing, etc.)Enable and integrate hardware cryptographic acceleratorsEnsure compliance with security standards such as NIST, FIPS, ISO/IEC 27001Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define secure system architecturesConduct code reviews, threat modeling, and validation for security‑critical codeSupport the full firmware development lifecycle from requirements to testing and deploymentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development using C (bare metal or RTOS)Strong knowledge of public‑key cryptography and secure protocols (TLS/DTLS)Experience with secure microcontrollers/SoCs (e.g. ARM TrustZone, ATECC)Familiarity with firmware validation, debugging tools, and version control systemsBonus: Experience with secure OTA updates, device authentication, and anti‑tampering mechanismsBenefitsMission‑critical project with global impact in smart infrastructureCollaborate with highly skilled and innovative engineersProfessional and supportive environmentOpportunities for continuous learning in embedded security and IoTSeniority LevelSenior #J-18808-Ljbffr
