Work Mode: Hybrid / Onsite / Remote (as applicable) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer responsible for both application support and database development. The role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL-based solutions while providing production support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity and performance across systems. Key Responsibilities Development Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers Participate in database design and data modeling to support application requirements Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large datasets Support application development teams with database-related enhancements and integrations Implement ETL processes and data transformations where required Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and version control Support Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for database-related issues Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, performance issues, and job failures Monitor database health, performance, and capacity Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes Support deployments, releases, and database migrations Work closely with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams during incidents Top 5 Skills Required Advanced SQL (queries, performance tuning, indexing) Database Development (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views) Production Support & Troubleshooting (L2/L3) Query Optimization & Performance Tuning Data Analysis & Problem Solving Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and database objects Experience with performance tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plans Familiarity with ETL processes, data validation, and data reconciliation Experience working in production support environments Knowledge of source control and deployment processes Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies Nice to Have Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL) Knowledge of Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, or data warehousing concepts Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
