Security And Safety Manager

Sutherland is seeking an analytical and strategic-thinking person to join us as Associate Manager for Security and Safety Management.The purpose of this position is to ensure the security & safety of employees, assets & facilities and day to day activities of security department, within the location / area of responsibilities.We are a group of forward-thinking and driven individuals.If you are looking to build a fulfilling career and are confident you have the skills and experience to help us succeed, we want to work with you**Associate Managers in this role get to**:**Site(s) Security Management****Control risk**: work on sites Security Management by implementing the company's and customer's security and safety policies and procedures among employees, contractors, clients and other third parties.**Ensure accuracy**:99.9% upkeep operation of the Security System (CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Alarm) and Fire Safety System (Fire Alarm & Detection System, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lightings, Emergency Doors, FM200 and VESDA etc.) by completing the recommended maintenance requirements of the manufacturers.Perform Level 1 troubleshooting malfunctions and calling the vendors repairs.Also, perform preventive maintenance and repairs of safety devices in coordination with site facility team.Attends to safety and security meeting as required, as well as seek training for self-development.**Act as a liaison**: with local law enforcement agency on issues security in nature and maintain site's security.Liaises with emergency service, ambulance and fire service to in times of emergency and disastrous events.**Supervise and conduct security guard**: by supervise the security guard force within his or her shift.Also, conducts regular security guard force performance review activities covering the following: General Knowledge RA****, Knowledge of company policy and procedures, Post Duties and Responsibilities.Conducts a monthly internal compliance audit on specific Physical Security requirements of clients as per MSA or SOW.**Facilitate procedures and guides**:such as the NHO to promote security and safety awareness within the organization, the NHO for new team managers, NHO and reoccurring trainings for outsource staff and vendor.**Assist the team**: assist the Site Security and Safety Lead in the implementation of its Site Security Budget targeting an annual savings of 5% against budgeted operational expenditures.Also, serve as the Site POC for any new projects for security system within its site or as maybe requested by the Geo Security Manager.**Health & Safety Management****Perform as Local Safety Officer**: he/she will be working directly to the Site Director, Chairman of the Site Health & Safety Committee and with the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager.This person will Lead the site's safety inspection, health and safety training and emergency management programs to ensure the conformance of the facility, employees and contractors to company's OHS Management System and applicable government OHS regulations.Implementation of ISO ***** standard.**Conduct investigations and provide action plans**: conduct incident investigations and submit the analysis and recommendations to the Site Security and Safety Lead.Also, ensure that the approved Corrective and Preventive Actions are implemented on timely-manner.**Coordinate with different departments**: in order to ensure that 1.Risk assessment is up to date 2.Relevant site's OHS programs are implemented and periodically reviewed to achieve set OHS objectives and targets.**Qualifications**:- College Graduate or at least 72 units in college with at least 3 years' experience in the physical security industry.- Experience in Health and safety field and emergency preparedness and response.- Working knowledge of computer- To communicate in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)- Experience implementing ISO ***** standard.- Strong background experience as a associate or leader in physical security department.- Six Sigma Certified Yellow belt (optional but desirable)- Understanding of general, business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.- General working knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community.- General understanding of information technology and information security as well.**To be promoted to this position the person has to have the following certifications**:- Certified Security Professional (CSP)- Basic Occupational safety and Health Certification- Standard First Aid & CPR**To be promoted to this position the following trainings must have been taken**:- Situational Crime Prevention- CCTV System design and operation- Electronic Access Control System design and operations- Active Shooter Emergency Response and management- Bomb Threat Response and management- Loss Control Management- Fire Prevention and
