Job DescriptionSR Reservoir EngineerAbout the Role: For an important International Oil & Gas Company, we are currently looking for a SR Reservoir Engineer to work in Mexico City.QualificationsBachelor's in petroleum engineering or related engineeringMaster's degree in petroleum engineering or relative to energy is desirable15+ years relevant experience in reservoir engineeringRelevant experience with dynamic reservoir characterization, specifically in complex Turbidite environmentExperience in conventional reservoir engineering tools (PETEX suite, OFM, Kappa suite, etc.)Proficient in numerical reservoir simulation, specifically in the usage of the simulators (Petrel RE, Eclipse, TNavigator)Experience secondary projects design and implementationExperience in reserve/resource audit process focused on PRMS reserves classificationTeam lead, able to work and manage a multi-disciplinary teamStrong written and oral skills to efficiently communicate ideas, plansTeamwork and collaboration with different stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as a team playerStrong problem-solving capacitiesDetail-oriented focus on reaching the tasks / objectives proposedMandatory skills: Excellent English and Spanish communication skillsResponsibilitiesScope of work includes but is not limited to :Prepare the dynamic information acquisition plan (design) for exploratory, appraisal and development wells.Perform the design and evaluation of PTA Monitoring and surveillance of dynamic data acquired during drilling operation, including validation and quality control of the acquired informationPerform conventional reservoir engineering validation and QC, including production and pressure behaviors, PVT analysis and interpretation, SCAL data analysis, among othersValidate and / or design field development concepts for offshore fields in shallow and deep-water environments, including the definition and location of producers to develop efficiently the fields, also testing water or gas flooding strategies in order maximize the reserves, thus increasing the recovery factors for oil qualities varying form gas to light oil and heavy oilsReservoir engineering inputs for the preparation of static model generationGenerate production profiles for different FDP ´s concepts through the implementation of DCA, material balance or numerical simulationSeeks solutions / techniques to improve well's production and reservoir recovery factorParticipate in the reserves / resources certification process for exploration, discovered and mature fieldsSupport the corporate business plan process though the production profiles generationLocationLocation based: México City.Job Perks and BenefitsCompetitive salary- Long term assignment hired directly by our Global Partner in Mexico's officeWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.The benefits program includes benefits per law (Social security, retirement and other specified by Mexico Labor Law) and additional benefits to complement you and your family's needs.We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.People for Oil, Gas, Energy and Technology.Globally.#J-*****-Ljbffr
