Job Title: Tax PreparerWe are seeking a highly skilled Tax Preparer to join our team.As a key member of our tax preparation team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review U.S. individual (Form ****) and business tax returns (Forms ****, ****S, ****)- Handle multi-state filings and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and deadlines- Assist in tax planning and identify opportunities to reduce clients' tax liabilities- Maintain organized and accurate client records in line with firm policies- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and resolve inquiries- Collaborate with senior preparers and CPAs on complex returns and special projects- Stay current on tax law changes through ongoing education and trainingQualifications:- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in U.S. individual and business tax preparation- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines- Preferred: EA or CPA certification (or actively working toward one)
