Part Time on Call Warfighter's Simulation (WARSIM) Tech Control Forward Technician and JCATS Technician (US)- **Required**:- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or 2 years of experience working with JLCCTC Modeling and Simulations systems.- **Desired**: - BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or 3 years of experience working with Modeling and Simulations- Three years' experience with at least 2 of the following: Linux, Window, and UNIX operation systems, VMWARE- Experience with large-scale distributed JLCCTC, JTC, JTC-K and JLVC simulation exercisesQualifications:- Demonstrate knowledge in Information Systems and Information Technology as described and required by the task- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Red Hat Linux, VMWARE, and Windows- Understanding of large-scale distributed simulation exercises- Must maintain an active SECRET security clearance- Must be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level II certifications IAW DoD *******-M such as Security + b.**Responsibilities**:- Operates WARSIM Tech Control Forward Suites, to include installing, configuration and updating software when required- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures for system design, programming, documentation, and testing- Monitors system performance during exercises and takes corrective actions when required- Ensures all communications between servers, remote sites, and clients are fully operational- Responsible for supporting on-site system testing to insure interoperability solutions between US and Korean simulation models- Coordinates the identification, resolution, and correction of hardware and software problems- Provides 24 hour coverage during exercise periods to include working shifts when required to include night shift.- Demonstrate a keen understanding of the importance of the need for exceptional customer-contractor relationships.- Maintain 100% equipment accountability at all times.This includes hardware, software, and all system accessories.- Installs Combined Exercise Information Systems (CEIS) to include PC Workstations, VOIPs, Printers, and VTC's.- Assists in ALL other Technical Support Branch operations when required.Position Requirements- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or 2 years of experience working with JLCCTC Modeling and Simulations systems- Secret Clearance**EEO is The Law - click here for more information**Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledValiant Integrated Services is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
