Company DescriptionAs one of the world's largest fashion companies with more than 171,000 employees worldwide, H&M is an exciting and dynamic place to pursue a career within the fashion industry.Our business concept is to offer fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way and with our fast expansion we are always looking for new talents.Would you like to be part of our team?H&M group comprises of nine independent brands: H&M, COS, Weekday, Monki, H&M Home, & Other Stories, ARKET and Afound.We have over 4,900 stores across more than 73 markets worldwide.Our values reflect the heart and soul of H&M.They define what it takes to work here and how we do things.When we interact with colleagues and customers around the world, our values help us develop and grow.We want to be at the forefront of both fashion and sustainability.Our employees play a key role and can contribute to more sustainable fashion, today and in the future.**Job Description**:**Overall Job Summary**: To support day-to-day import and export execution, ensure compliance to standards and support global initiatives for trade and customs enhancements.**Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to**:- Administrate local import and export processes for commercial and Non-Commercial Goods, including port to DC, cross-country DC moves, and cross-border shipments (both store and online)- Administrate efficient handling of customs formalities in cross-region trades- Timely prepare and administrate entries for customs clearance and support compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs- Support opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategies- Communicate with state customs and other regional regulators on a day-to-day operational basis- Support in all international transport matters (e.g., shipment tracing/monitoring, freight invoice reviewing etc.)- Support initiatives/ projects with expertise Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirements**What You'll Need to Succeed**:- Knowledge of import and export processes in region across all types of cross-border flows- Understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for regional execution- Overview on relevant regional market environment and cross-border trade relationships- Knowledge of international forwarding- Coordination skills and "can do" attitude to effectively resolve day-to-day issues and drive smooth process support and administration- Ability to collaborate and co-create with others- Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth- Inclusive and empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity- Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture- ** Fluent in English and local language**Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
