OverviewWillis Towers Watson is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team. This full‑time role involves automating build processes, infrastructure, and software configuration management. The engineer will develop and maintain continuous integration platforms across multiple products and support their operations. The position requires close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure high‑quality releases that meet organizational standards. The role reports directly to the DevOps Leader. The Role Essential Job Duties Designs and maintains automated pipelines for software delivery and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Provides technical support, mentorship, and guidance on DevOps practices. Participates in incident response as part of an on‑call rotation model. Collaborates with development and business teams to achieve goals and mitigate risks. Drives continuous improvement of DevOps processes and documentation. Requires flexible availability, including weekly night support. Core Competencies Committed to collaboration, integrity, and service. Strong communicator with a focus on supporting others through training and value delivery. Personally accountable and responsible in planning and execution. Qualifications Requirements BS or BA Degree, preferably in Computer Science 3+ years of experience in DevOps/SCM roles with strong CI/CD and SDLC knowledge. Proficient in Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Skilled in cloud platforms (Azure), including IaaS, PaaS, Docker/Kubernetes. Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for cloud automation. Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and release management best practices. Bonus Experience managing Databricks workspaces and configurations in a CI/CD pipeline. Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Azure Application Insights). Experience with Machine Learning/AI services. Azure AI preferred. Experience with Database configuration management (SQL, PostgreSQL). Redgate preferred. Office based in Mexico City, in a hybrid model.
