AP Accountant (Shared Service Center) As part of our global finance transformation, we are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist Supervisor / Shared Services to lead and oversee the end to end accounts payable process in our regional operations in México. This position also involves overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment across the accounting function. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and driving process improvements in a fast‑paced automotive environment. What you can look forward to as Accounting Specialist Supervisor / Shared Services: Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, approvals, and payment execution. Lead month-end and year-end AP closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting. Monitor AP aging and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items and discrepancies. Act as the primary point of contact for key vendors and internal stakeholders regarding issues and escalations. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy for AP, AR and GL. Mentor and support junior team members, providing training and guidance as needed. Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies. Collaborate with the global SSC team to continuously improve processes and support automation initiatives. Your profile as Accounting Specialist Supervisor / Shared Servicess: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable in a senior or leading role, preferably in a multinational company or SSC environment. BA or BS degree in accounting, business administration, or economics, or bookkeeper certificate required Familiarity with regional accounting standards and tax regulations (Europe, Mexico, China). SAP, S4HANA experience preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
