Weblogic Administrator

**Location**: Mexico or possibly remote or possibly combination of bothThe WebLogic Administrator works predominantly in the Amazon AWS and MS Azure Cloud space on projects focused on "on-prem to cloud" workload migrations, as well as Greenfield projects.Hands-on Role (WebLogic Administration and Support)**Primary Responsibilities**:1. Install, configure, upgrade and administer Oracle WebLogic Server 10g, 11g and 12C in Development, Test and Production Environments.3. Maintain Load balancing, high availability and Fail over for the WebLogic servers4. Install and Configure OHS/Apache Plug-ins for WebLogic5. Upgrade/Migrate WebLogic Server6. Performance tuning of JVM and used Garbage collection Algorithms for better performance.8. Configured LDAP using directory Server for user authentication- installation issues10. Provide 24x7 on-call support for production / non-production environments.11. Create & Migrate jobs and workflows across various environments14. Deploy / execute scripts to manage logs related to disk utilization and data compression15. Performance tuning for WebLogic servers.16. High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for WebLogic.17. Configuration of LDAP and SSO for WebLogic.18. Experience with JDBC, JMS, LDAP, SSL, Clustering and Load balancing.20. Collect system data for production (e.g., heap memory, thread utilization, transaction counters)21. Develop system signature for Production (i.e., system behavior across different periods of time ; noting key transaction for business success)22. Analyze system data for production (e.g., heap memory, thread utilization, transaction counters)23. Perform trend analysis against system data for production (understand the expected system results)25.Provide leadership in problem determination/analysis and isolate system problems utilizing diagnostic and system management tools (i.e. system dumps and system/component traces, monitoring tools)27. Manage Weblogic security, Implementation of Security Policies and procedures28. Exposure in configuring AWS CloudWatch alerts/Azure monitor29. Experience with implementing and maintaining data encryption, SSL certificates30. Experience with auto scaling capabilities31. Experience with cross site replication, multi-site failover32. Participate in Disaster recovery exercises as and when required33. Provide technical leadership and continuous improvement of standards to enable a more customer focused, responsive department.Help drive consistent operational best practices.35.Research, evaluate and stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies; maintain skills and capabilities through education, training and hands-on experience.Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.Accept new responsibilities, as required, to enable business growth.37. Participate in an off-hours on-call rotation, and perform periodic off-hours work during maintenance windows38. Participated in at least 2 cloud migrations at various organizations.Multi cloud provider experience a plus39. Engage with cloud service provider for support related incidents, own resolution of database related incidents**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:1. Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions**Job Requirements/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS**:1. 10+ Years of IT experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration2. Proficient in WebLogic Installation, Domain Configuration, Domain Version Upgradation, domain migration, SSL configuration, Patch Installation, Deployments, Performance Tuning and Trouble Shooting for WebLogic 11g and 12C versions.3.
