About Our ClientOur client is a long-established, family-owned company with deep roots in children’s apparel and accessories. Over the years, they’ve expanded to include clothing and sleepwear for all ages, offering playful yet sophisticated designs available in thousands of stores worldwide.About the roleWe are looking for someone with 4+ years of design experience who would be responsible for designing multiple children’s fashion brands to department stores, big box retailers, and the off-price channel. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative environment between Sales, Design, and Sourcing teams.Candidate must be an expert in Adobe Illustrator, detail-oriented, creative, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Design Director to create children’s collections that align with each brand’s DNA (categories include: accessories, apparel, pajamas, socks)Work with Technical Designer to sketch new bodies, then plug prints into black + whitesPair prints together for matching sets or collectionsRevise artwork when needed (must be able to scale prints, recreate a repeat, recolor)Create, maintain and revise tech packs relative to designsAbility to juggle multiple projects at onceQualifications4+ years of experience in apparel design, specifically in children\'s or babywearExperience designing full collections, developing CADs, and working with color palettesMust provide a strong portfolio showcasing design style and technical abilityProficiency in Adobe IllustratorFluent English for internal communicationCreative, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independentlyCompensationCompensation: $2,000 - $2,900 monthlyScheduleSchedule: 9am to 6pm EST - Monday to FridayUS Holidays5 days of PTOTake creative ownership of a full brand line in partnership with the Design Director, from concept to final productJob detailsSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: DesignIndustry: Retail Apparel and FashionGet notified about new Fashion Designer jobs in Latin America. #J-18808-Ljbffr
