Quienes somos:WHY WERNER?BECAUSE WE ARE THE PRO'S CHOICEYou will find our market leading products and brands on trucks and job sites all over the world.Focusing on end users' needs drives our success.Our entire product development process—from research to engineering to manufacturing to commercialization—creates products that ensure ease of use, productivity, durability and safety for the end user.On jobsites across America and the world, WernerCo brands are most preferred.Resumen:Introduces in production new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools ("new processes" from here on) required to support NPI projects, TCA projects, Advanced Development and any other special project.**Responsabilidades**:- Coordinates and manages all activities related to the introduction of such new processes.Tracks status and manages risks.Elevates issues that require intervention from the project manager in charge.- Main responsibilities for new processes are:- Develops the technical specification for new processes.Assures that inputs required from all incumbent functional areas are considered.- Verifies that the vendors understand in detail the specifications and commits to the feasibility and compliance of the technical specs.- Along with Purchasing, selects the best supplier for the new process and awards the PO- Closely follow up in the design phase of new process with the supplier.When all requirements are completed, approves the supplier to initiate the new process construction.- Validates the new process at the supplier's floor by a predetermined runoff plan.- Validates the new process at Werner's floor by a predetermined runoff plan.- Hands over new processes to production after validation in terms of Safety, Quality and Delivery are completed.- Identifies, develops and Works with external tool and equipment suppliers.Creates a partnership to assure that Werner's needs can be fulfilled with the best reliance, speed and cost.- Researches and develops best in class production processes as well as new technologies applicable to Werner's needs.- Develop procedures, generate equipment process instruction and any other documentation needed for proper tooling and equipment usage in regular production, CAD and paper files, in addition maintain revision control of tooling / equipment drawings.- Develop financial evaluations of potential major capital investment projects and provide documentation of investment vs payback to company.Uses equipment capacity utilization, process capabilities, labor cost, floor space, lead times to assess cost impact.- Document results in technical reports and presentations.- Develops and documents new standards and guidelines that Will support Advanced Manufacturing activities and interface with other functional areas.Calificaciones:- Engineering degree or similar.- 3-5 Year Experience- English Proficiency- Expert in manufacturing engineering tools and procedures such as:- PFMEA, DFM, DFA, MSA, GD&T, GR&R, SPC, Error Proofing- Capacity Utilization analysis, Capital Investment Forecasting- Labor calculations, BOM management, Safety Risk Assessments, CAD/CAM- Extensive Experience in the following processes:- Robot Welding, (Aluminum and Steel)- Powder Paint- Fabrication (Laser and turret press cutting, bending, piercing- Equipment Integration- Simple assembly processesDeclaración EEO:WernerCo is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.WernerCo is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.All qualified applicants to WernerCo are considered for employment without regard to age, color, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status or any other protected characteristic.WernerCo will not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind based on these characteristics.
