Assist on the M&A transactions across geographies worldwide, analyze business development opportunities, portfolio rebalancing, support strategic planning analysis and internal consulting projects.**Main Responsibilities**:- Assist in M&A transactions, assist on develop valuation models (DCF, multiples, etc.) and evaluate transaction investment metrics.- Assist in the assessment of business development opportunities in CEMEX and non-CEMEX markets and geographies.- Contribute to analyze market conditions, competitive dynamics, and industry performance to identify opportunities which would improve CEMEX's positioning as a leader in the building materials industry.- Participate in project work streams of internal consulting projects for CEMEX worldwide across our 4 core businesses (cement, ready-mix, aggregates and Urbanization Solutions).- Assist in developing materials for top management meetings, including Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other events.- Work and coordinate with corporate staff and regional operational areas, including finance, legal, tax, accounting, sustainability, operations and technical, R&D, among others.**Position Challenges**:Handle stress, work with different areas and cultures, handle short deadlines and last-minute urgent requirements.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Controllership, Corporate Planning, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent areas- Advanced English required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent)- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office**_Pursuing Excellence:_** **Entry level experience (0-3 years) in Consulting, Finance, Corporate Planning, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent experience in a challenging, international environment, with proven results**; **Intellectual curiosity, structured, critical thinking, attentive to detail**_Working as One CEMEX:_** **Team player, results driven.Thrives in a multicultural, high-pressure environment.**_Acting with Integrity:_** **Always conducts oneself with integrity and honesty**; **Able to manage highly confidential information**_Focusing on Customers:_** **Ability to understand internal and external customer's needs, and engages in productive discussions**_Ensuring Safety:_** **Ensuring safety and health is a top priority for all members of the team**Internal/External Relations**:Controllership, Legal, Finance, Operations, RRHH, Tax, Procurement, etc.Basically, must of the Company ´s areas**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At Cemex, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.We respect diversity, we address the inclusion and non-discrimination of any talented person, regardless of gender, physical ability, age, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, marital status, pregnancy / maternity / paternity and nationality.We promote a culture of equity for the construction of a sustainable business and the well-being and development of Cemex employees.
