Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Homologation & IT Support Assistant to support our team in the cellphone industry.This role is ideal for professionals interested in mobile technology, product compliance, and IT operations.Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing documentation required for device certification and regulatory approval (NOM, IFETEL, carrier requirements, etc.).- Coordinate with testing labs, certification bodies, and mobile carriers.- Track the progress of device testing, approvals, and deadlines.- Review technical specifications to ensure compliance with local regulations.- Maintain updated records of homologation status for all products.- Provide first-level technical support to internal users (hardware, software, connectivity issues).- Assist in setting up mobile devices, computers, and system configurations.- Support basic network, email, and system troubleshooting.- Help maintain IT inventory and equipment tracking.- Coordinate with external IT service providers when needed.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Systems, or related fields) or IT-related degree.- English proficiency (advanced) for communication with global teams and carriers.- Strong interest in mobile technology, telecommunications, and device certification.- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and mobile device platforms (Android/iOS).- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Preferred Skills- Internship or school project experience in telecommunications, mobile devices, or IT support.- Familiarity with MDM tools or IT ticketing systems.
