Direct message the job poster from AfinoAbout Afino : We are an AI-powered, Slack-connected outsourced finance department, delivering bookkeeping, tax preparation, and CFO services designed for the pace of startups.Our mission is to modernize the financial management cycle by leveraging workflow automation to deliver real-time financial visibility.At our core, we're helping founders / business owners and finance teams save time, reduce complexity, and unlock insights that drive growth.By combining tech-enabled solutions and high-quality services, we're building the next generation of financial operations—fast, transparent, and built for scaling companies.About the RoleWe're looking for a Finance Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations.In this role, you will lead strategic finance efforts for a diverse portfolio of clients—supporting operating models, leading company-wide budget processes, managing cap tables, performing due diligence, and serving as the source of truth for all internal & external reporting.What You'll DoLead strategic finance initiatives across multiple clients.Perform ad-hoc financial analyses tailored to client needs.Build, maintain, and refine dynamic financial and operating models.Lead and manage client budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis.Serve as the primary finance point of contact for client leadership teams.Support due diligence processes for fundraising, M&A, and strategic partnerships.Deliver accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting.Partner with clients to improve operational efficiency and leverage modern finance tools.Manage and mentor a team of Analysts as Afino's client base grows.What We're Looking ForExperience in consulting, investment banking, or advisory (Big 4 or top-tier firm experience strongly preferred).Corporate FP&A background with a proven ability to manage budgets and forecasts.Prior experience in startups, venture-backed companies, or high-growth environments.Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic scenario modeling.Strong understanding of how to leverage ERP and accounting systems.Experience with financial due diligence (M&A, fundraising) and investor reporting.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead client interactions and influence decision-making.Interest in and active usage of AI tools to enhance financial analyses and streamline workflows.Passion for technology, innovation, and helping startups scale.Why Join Afino?At Afino, you'll partner with exciting startups and directly contribute to their growth journey.We foster a collaborative, tech-forward environment that prioritizes professional growth, innovation, and a genuine impact on clients' success.Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.Employment type: Contract.Job function: Finance and Sales.#J-#J-*****-Ljbffr
