Android LeadLocation: Mexico City,Mexico Experience: 5+ Years Work Mode: HybridEmployment Type: Long term contractor Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled AndroidLead with 5+ years of experience in building high-performance, scalable, and robust Android applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin, Jetpack components, and modern mobile development practices. Key Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.• Design and implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party libraries and services.• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.• Ensure security best practices in app development.• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define and implement new features.• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior developers.• Continuously explore and implement new technologies to improve app performance and user experience. Required Skills & Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience in Android development.• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.• Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.).• Deep understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin).• Experience working with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, and GraphQL.• Knowledge of Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito), UI Testing (Espresso).• Strong experience with Android UI development and Material Design principles.• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Firebase, and Google Play Store deployment.• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools (Android Profiler, LeakCanary).• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.• Experience on production support
