Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires:**DBA with RAC Experience****Job description**:DBA with RAC Experience Mexico U4 8 + Years- Roles & Responsibilities_- Manage and maintain Oracle RAC databases to ensure high availability and performance.- Perform database tuning and optimization to improve query performance and overall efficiency.- Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.- Monitor database health and address performance issues proactively.- Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.- Automate routine database administration tasks for operational efficiency.- Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future database growth.- Document database configurations, maintenance procedures, and best practices.- Provide 24/7 support for critical database environments to ensure uptime and reliability._Assessment Phase Responsibilities_- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing Oracle RAC database configurations.- Assess current database performance, availability, and scalability requirements.- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential risks in database environments.- Perform a gap analysis to determine areas for improvement in database operations.- Evaluate disaster recovery solutions and validate compliance with organizational policies.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for database optimization or migration.- Document current database workflows, dependencies, and interconnections.- Conduct feasibility studies for upgrading to the latest Oracle versions or RAC enhancements.- Develop a high-level roadmap for database improvements and upgrades.- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders for approval.- Implementation Phase Responsibilities_- Configure and deploy Oracle RAC clusters for high availability and scalability.Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patch management.- Implement automation tools for database provisioning and maintenance tasks.- Optimize database performance using tuning tools and best practices.- Monitor and validate disaster recovery setups to ensure readiness during failures.- Document deployment processes, configurations, and operational procedures.- Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to support teams.- Monitor and troubleshoot database environments to ensure smooth operations.- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of database changes.- Required Skills and Qualification_- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with expertise in Oracle RAC environments.- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.- Experience with backup and recovery solutions using RMAN or similar tools.- Proficiency in database security, including encryption and access controls.- Familiarity with database monitoring tools (e.g., OEM, Solar winds)**ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL**(Will be evaluated).**Job type**: On site.**Location**: Monterrey**Salary**: $100,000 gross.**Benefits**: Excellent superior benefits.Postúlate por este medio y comparte tu CV.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoPuede trasladarse/mudarse:- Monterrey, N.
