**What's the role?**:We are looking for a Lead Architect would be a part of the Process Design Engineering & Innovation team where you will interface with internal stakeholders at a global level to help bring to life complex software solutions that advance HERE's geo-location business and vision.You will have the opportunity to work with cross functional technical teams (cloud services, embedded and mobile clients), and design the overall high-level system, explaining both problem and solution with clarity and precision to all necessary stakeholders.**Responsibilities**- Drive the solution design during project execution or take supervised charge of a subset of the solution design during the RfX phase.- Identify the right products and technologies to solve the customers' problems.- Design a complete and complex framework, system, or solution.- Take the lead and accountability for: the technical soundness and cost effectiveness of the solution across its life-cycle.From the bidding phase, to execution, to go-live, and finally to maintenance hand-over.- Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters- Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses- Influence the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems- Work independently and develop innovative solutions- Lead others to solve complex problems; use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.- Play a pivotal role in designing team strategies, be the forerunners for innovation vertical within the team by driving patents- Involved in research and development activities to understand and identify the solution requirements aligned to HERE's vision and business needs- Analyze completed prototype, pilot and scaled projects to identify gaps to address further requirements or specification issues and communicate to relevant stakeholders**Who are you?**:- 8+ years of experience primarily in the software architecture, and strong computer sciences fundamentals in highly skilled in C++, C#, Java or Python- Experience building highly scalable systems, Data structures, algorithms, design patterns- Ability to plan and estimate development tasks- Fundamentals of CI/CD, and work with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GCP- Creating RESTful services.- AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB)- Awareness of technical writing concepts, requirements gathering, software development practices and user software testing (UST)- Knowledge on GIS Domain..HERE is an equal opportunity employer.We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.LI-REMOTELI-SA1**Who are we?**:Ever checked in somewhere on social media?Ever tracked your online orders?You might be using HERE Technologies every single day without even realizing it.You can find us everywhere: in vehicles, smartphones, drones or third-party apps.We believe that with the right people, we will continue to be a game-changer in the technology industry and improve the daily lives of people around the world.Find out more by clicking the video below or going HERE.
