This hybrid role focuses on advanced threat detection, incident response, and security operations in partnership with our global MDR provider.The Senior Specialist Security Analyst is responsible for advanced cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities. This role strengthens Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s security posture by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating complex threats across global environments.ResponsibilitiesMonitor SIEM and security tools to identify and escalate threats.Lead coordination of major security incidents.Perform advanced threat intelligence and forensic analysis.Develop security automation and detection mechanisms.Support vulnerability management activities.Mentor junior analysts and contribute to cybersecurity strategy.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.Certifications: Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, GSEC, GCFA, GCFE, GCFR, GREM, GNFA, or GEIR.Experience: Approximately 7 years of incident response experience, including 3+ years in a senior SOC role. Demonstrated experience managing major incidents across distributed environments.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Security tools, forensic investigation tools (e.g., Autopsy, CyberTriage), Windows and Linux systems, cloud environments (Azure and AWS), and network protocols.Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts.Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to long‑term cybersecurity strategy.Communication: Ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
