Position Summary: Leads all phases of large-scale assigned process or manufacturing improvement projects.Ensures the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost.Implements process improvements to meet quality standards.Designs and conducts feasibility studies and solves problems.Ensures documentation is complete and accurate and aides in communication to personnel.Serves as an expert resource to other engineers and coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects.Ensures that the team troubleshoots and resolves all issues.Develops the sequence of operations, estimates time requirements for each, and prepares operation sheets.Identifies, recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters in order to increase efficiency and cost savings.May design and program CNC equipment to utilize to full capacity.Designs and implements new line layouts or re-designs plant layout.Provides technical leadership/training and/or coaching to other team members.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Optimize and standardize stamping processes- Design and develop manufacturing process and automation platforms- Implement new manufacturing technologies- Support product development in optimizing designs and piece parts- Document processes and tooling- Implement programs to improve quality, cost, and cycle timePROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS- Ability to do tactical reporting, data mining, and critical analysis.- MS Office suite Power User (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)- Digital media manage- Die Service Room/ ExpertRequired Education / Experience / Skills:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering- Experience with stamping lines and automation- Knowledge of design tools like AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks- Experience with mechanical presses and progressive or transfer dies- Strong communication skills- Ability to work under pressure- Ability to solve problems systematicallyOther relevant skills and experience- Experience with stamping press line foundations and utilities- Knowledge of quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and APQP- Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment- Experience with tool analysis and fault debugging- Experience with floor control methods- Experience with statistical process research- Experience with equipment maintenance and repair- Experience in Lean manufacturing (Other)- Experience in TPM (required)Travel: NoLanguage: English written and spoken 75%About Regal Rexnord- The Company's end markets benefit from meaningful secular demand tailwinds, and include factory automation, food & beverage, aerospace, medical, data center, warehouse, alternative energy, residential and commercial buildings, general industrial, construction, metals and mining, and agriculture.
