We'll need you to...ResponsibilitiesBe a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with engineers and product managers throughout the software development cycle to release life changing products and proactively improve our quality efforts as a company.Put your analytical skills on the table contributing in discovery, refinement, and review sessions with product and engineering.Aid in determining the applicable types of automation to implement ensuring test coverage for new features or bugs, such as unit, component, integration, API, or UI automation is in place when new features merge.Analyze and develop rigorous test cases, suites, and plans linked to user stories for evaluating and testing our products before they ship.Work closely with our engineers to instill a culture of quality in development.Institute world-class standards, methods, and procedures to assess and ensure the highest product quality and release readiness.Be a reliable, friendly source of feedback on new functionality, features and process changes.Maintain detailed knowledge of our company evolving product suite to ensure that user feedback flows to the product team and fuels innovation.Audit our test automation coverage alongside our developers adding to it.QualificationsStrong 5-7 years of proven software test experience developing and executing both automation and manual test suites.Experience with writing automation using Playwright, Selenium, Postman, or other similar tools & frameworks, including debugging and tracking down code issues.Solid understanding of test automation fundamentals and best practices.Experience with programming or scripting languages like C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.Robust understanding of Web Services/APIs and the movement of data, using debugging tools such as Fiddler, and Swagger.Knowledge of SQL with the ability to write queries testing data quality and assisting with test data needs.Solid knowledge of major QA tools, bug-tracking systems, and automation tools.Experience working across teams to resolve issues and impediments.Strong desire to learn and grow as a contributing team member.Detail-oriented, self-starter, and great communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
