Insulet started in **** with an idea and a mission to enable our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod product platform.In the last two decades we have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients by using innovative technology that is wearable, waterproof, and lifestyle accommodating.**Responsibilities*** Develop and maintain test database for automated validation test of software revisions.* Creating and executing test plans, manual and automated test cases and generating test reports.* Creating use cases and identifying gaps in use cases/test cases.* Develop and execute test suite for Android mobile application.* Influence the definition of requirements and software design to maximize testability.* Develop and extend test cases (protocols) and plans as software application features evolve.* Build test frameworks and methodologies that will define the testing process used as part of the agile software development process.* Work closely with the software development team to identify and correct defects.* Collaborate with Development, Systems and IT teams* Participate in product design reviews.* Performs other duties as required.**Education and Experience:** Requirements: • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field preferred.• 3+ years hands on experience in testing is required.## Skills and Competencies:• In depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution is required.• Python experience is preferred• Software test group experience.• Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods (i.e., Git, Perforce).• Familiarity with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.• Familiarity with IEC *****, ISO *****, FDA regulations and international standards applicable to medical device software development, verification and validation a plus.NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week.#LI-HybridWe are looking for highly motivated, performance driven individuals to be a part of our expanding team.We do this by hiring amazing people guided by shared values who exceed customer expectations.Our continued success depends on itInsulet is looking for a self-motivated **Software Test Engineer** to be a part of the testing (manual and automation) efforts related to product development and product modifications.This position assists in the software quality assurance efforts related to new product development and product modifications for the Research and Development group.The position is responsible for ensuring that new products have been effectively and efficiently verified and validated prior to their release for shipment and that these designs effectively meet documented and implied user needs and requirements.Software quality assurance efforts are lifecycle-oriented beginning during product requirements development and continuing throughout its lifetime.This position will also be part of validating software development tools to improve the overall quality of software, including peer reviews, software hazard analysis, requirements traceability, software code analysis, defect tracking, software metrics, configuration management, and software tool validations.#J-*****-Ljbffr
