Proven Fortinet SD-WAN deployment and rollout experience (highly critical) Strong background in large-scale, multi-site deployments Advanced English (spoken & written) Initially 12-month contract, extendable Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Specialist / Network Architect to join our Global Networks & Telecoms (GNT) team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex on-premise and cloud-based network solutions across 100+ sites in 30+ countries. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in enterprise network infrastructure, cloud networking technologies, and troubleshooting complex global networks. You will collaborate with a global network engineering team supporting operations across APAC, Europe, and the Americas. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, available network solutions across on-prem, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid environments. Consult with internal customers on requirements for on-prem and cloud networking infrastructure. Perform network performance management, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution. Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with application, operations, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure. Contribute to DevOps transformation by automating repetitive network tasks. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Lead enterprise WAN migration from Cisco IWAN to Fortinet SD-WAN, ensuring compliance with global standards. Deploy, test, and optimize SD-WAN solutions—validate routing, VPNs, QoS, and HA configurations. Troubleshoot, optimize, and document improvements during and after SD-WAN migration. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 10+ years deploying and maintaining on-prem and cloud network infrastructure. Deep experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms. Strong operational experience with large, distributed WAN environments. Expert knowledge of : TCP / IP DNS BGP OSPF VLAN VPN IPSEC QoS WAN LAN WLAN Extensive hands‑on experience with SD-WAN (Fortinet preferred). Strong understanding of network security; experience with NGFW (Palo Alto & Fortinet preferred). Proficient with leading solutions : Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, F5, etc. Strong communication skills; able to explain complex concepts to various stakeholders.
