At Spriggs Excavation, Inc., we don't just dig the dirt—we redefine it.Our mission is to deliver top-notch results, safely, powered by our all-star team.With over 20 years of stellar performance, we've built a reputation for quality, reliability, and safety that's anything but ordinary.Operating across the Rocky Mountains to the Midwest, we leverage cutting-edge technology and seasoned expertise in mass excavation, renewable energy, electrical substations, remediation, and residential projects.Having moved over two million cubic yards of dirt in a single project, we demonstrate our ability to tackle even the most demanding assignments.We take pride in our diverse culture and core values of Safety, Teamwork, Professionalism, Accountability, and Integrity, which we live every day.These values guide our work and help us continue delivering exceptional results.The Equipment Asset Manager oversees the full lifecycle of the company's physical equipment—from planning and acquisition through maintenance support and disposal—to maximize value, optimize performance, and reduce cost and risk.This position ensures accurate equipment data, strong cost controls, and reliable reporting that supports leadership in making effective fleet decisions.The Equipment Asset Manager partners closely with the Fleet Director to keep equipment information, processes, and systems aligned and running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Lifecycle Management: Develop and execute strategies for the entire lifecycle of equipment, from acquisition to disposition.Inventory & Tracking: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all equipment assets using TENNA and conduct routine physical audits to verify records.Performance Analysis: Monitor utilization and performance data to identify under-utilized equipment, optimize usage, and support fleet planning decisions.Financial Management: Support equipment budgeting and forecasting, monitor expenditures, manage costs, and perform cost-benefit analysis and depreciation reporting.Valuation & Remarketing: Evaluate equipment values, monitor market trends, and implement strategies for remarketing, sale, or disposition of surplus, off-lease, or repossessed assets.Compliance & Safety: Help ensure equipment and related processes comply with applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations (e.G., OSHA, DOT) and support operator training and documentation as needed.Vendor & Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, vendors, brokers, and third-party providers; negotiate contracts; and ensure quality service and support.Fleet Data Systems ManagementSupport fleet-related software systems and improvements (CMMS, ERP, OEM portals, telematics, and integrations).Ensure data accuracy across systems and resolve data exceptions and inconsistencies.Maintain dashboards and reporting for utilization, downtime, financial KPIs, and asset performance.Lead system improvement projects and process optimization efforts that increase efficiency and data reliability.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience with fleet management and/or construction equipment required.Proficiency in Excel and fleet management systems (TENNA experience preferred).High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency.Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present clear insights to leadership.Strong understanding of equipment terminology, utilization drivers, and lifecycle impacts.Organized, process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with working knowledge of equipment types and the markets where they operate.Benefits:Health Insurance with Employer ContributionDental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings AccountCompany-paid life and AD&D insuranceCompany-paid long-term disability insuranceVoluntary group life insuranceSupplemental insurance through AFLACPet InsuranceLegal Insurance & ID Theft ProtectionMatched RetirementVacation and Sick LeaveCompetitive Pay6 Paid HolidaysBonus ProgramJoin Spriggs Excavation and help us build the future—both for our clients and for our team.#J-*****-Ljbffr
