**Transform the lives of the most marginalized and vulnerable communities and be at the forefront of social change.****About Heartland Alliance International**: Heartland Alliance International's (HAI) mission is to secure the rights and well-being of marginalized people and communities.HAI envisions a world in which those whose rights have been violated are safe and empowered to actively engage in their communities and be at the forefront of social change.In Iraq, HAI provides holistic services focusing on mental health and psychosocial support, legal aid, violence prevention, and social cohesion to diverse vulnerable populations.**The Project**: Heartland Alliance International (HAI), is implementing a project for its second year, project called _Safer Future: Protection and Reintegration of Children Associated with Armed Groups._ This project seeks to ensure that children who are associated with armed forces and armed groups (CAAFAG), including those detained/sentenced and those disengaged and at risk of radicalization, benefit from a functional and child-friendly system of justice that protects them and their rights and a comprehensive community-based reintegration program that promotes safe and sustainable reintegration through comprehensive social development and economic strengthening services.Project activities will be implement both in Baghdad and Ninawa governorates.The services will be in the reformatory schools and detention centers, in Baghdad the project services will be implement in both observation house for boys and girls, reformatory schools for adolescents and juveniles, in Ninewa governorate the project activities will be implement in center and the newly established observation house in Mosul city.The project consists of three interrelated and mutually-reinforcing objectives: (1) Detained adolescents have access to comprehensive protection and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services and have their rights protected; (2) Children and adolescents who are released from detention and children in the community who are disengaged or at risk of radicalization have access to and benefit from community-based reintegration services that are in line with international standards and best practices; (3) strengthening capacity of juvenile justice system in Baghdad governorates to ensure the safeguarding of juveniles rights and best interests and adoption of child- friendly approaches throughout all stage of the judicial process, including diversion, alternative to detention, and trauma - informed care.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:The project coordinator will be based in Baghdad, with travel as needed to Ninewa and KRI governorates.He/ She will work directly under the supervision of the project manager to assist with program implementation, ensuring that all program activities will be implemented in line with the project work plan and in accordance with HAI and the donor's standards and requirements.The project coordinator will provide support for technical oversight of all components of the project, including working closely with HAI's M&E, technical, finance and HR/administrative teams to ensure successful project implementation.**Project Technical Support**:- ** Project implementation support**- Works closely with the project manager in identifying the needs and the necessary steps for implementing the project effectively, toward reaching strategic objectives and intermediate results.- In close coordination with the project team, project reporting officer and the HAI M&E team to monitor and report the developments of the program activities.- Provides administrative and technical support for planning, organizing, and preparing trainings, roundtable discussions, events, campaigns and other activities to achieve project objectives.- Assist the project manager to monitor work plans, budgets, and progress reports as required by HAI and the donor.- Assists in supporting, monitoring and counseling project team members to enhance effectiveness of activities, including providing on-site training and mentoring to staff.- **Communication and Monitoring & Evaluation**- Collaborates closely with project manager to continuously assess status of implementation against project work plan and makes recommendations for appropriate steps to ensure project is on track in meeting deliverables.- Assist the project manager in coordinating the drivers and track movement for security reasons.- Ensure accurate data collection from project team members in HAI M&E tools.- Take the lead in compilation and writing of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and final project reports, ensuring timely and high quality reporting.- With the project manager, represents HAI to NGO partners and the other INGOs, government officials, funding sources, other partners, beneficiaries, and at conferences, meetings and other outreach opportunities.- Regularly attends the protection cluster mee
