At Tetra Pak we commit to making food safe and available, everywhere; and we protect what's good - protecting food, protecting people, and protecting the planet.By doing so we touch millions of people's lives every day._- And we need people like you to make it happen._**_We empower you to reach your potential with opportunities to make an impact to be proud of - for food, people and the planet._****Job Summary**:Tetra Pak is currently looking for a Planning Expert to be the responsible between engineering, logistics, production and quality department to manufacture food processing equipment.You will be responsible for scheduling the assembly and fabrication of the assigned lines production plan.Also, you will ensure availability of components and resources to start manufacturing and budget follow up.This position will be based in Cuautitlan, Mexico.Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.**What you will do**:As a Planning Expert, you will:- Work on the planning and ordering of the necessary materials required for the production demand.- Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly.- Expedite overdue materials to prevent the lack of raw material.- Coordinate activities within production and engineering teams.- Draw up Master Schedule according to demand planning and supply chain manufacturing in order to meet tollgates for each project.- Create sequence built for each equipment manufacture and balance resource availability within production and external vendors.- Follow up on production schedules to ensure timeliness are met.- Create weekly production reports and communicate status of each project.**We believe you have**:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar engineering.- 3+ years of experience in production and planning scheduling.- Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.- Good understanding of factory production processes and product portfolio.- WCM (World Class Manufacturing) knowledge or any Lean Manufacturing experience would be a plus.- General Supply Chain knowledge, including financial implications of decisions.- Knowledge of process and tools in Planning.- Good knowledge and experience in SAP.- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Intermediate Excel level is required).**We Offer You**- A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape- A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results- An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion- Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangementsThis job posting expires on** June 4, ******- Diversity, equity, and inclusion is an everyday part of how we work.We give people a place to belong and support to thrive, an environment where everyone can be comfortable being themselves and has equal opportunities to grow and succeed.We embrace difference, celebrate people for who they are, and for the diversity they bring that helps us better understand and connect with our customers and communities worldwide._
