Contracts Manager, Procurement

**Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.**The Opportunity**Are you an experienced attorney or contracts manager with a passion for complex commercial transactions and global vendor contracts?If so, you will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with seasoned professionals, negotiating with both customers and partners to secure the best possible terms for Nutanix.This role offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a significant impact on the company's procurement process, while also providing the potential for long-term career advancement.Join our team and be a key player in shaping the future of our organization.**Legal at Nutanix**Team name**:Americas Commercial Legal Team**- How big is the team?My team consists of 5 very dedicated people; the extended Commercial Team has 13 people spread globally.The entire legal team has 30+ employees.- Recent awards: The legal team is consistently praised and valued for its work to help Nutanix achieve its objectives, and we are frequently recognized individually via the company's excellence reward program.What does your team like most: The team likes working in a collegial environment on deals and projects that have a significant impact on the company.**Your Role**- Manage contracts review workflow for various types of vendor contracts and potentially sales contracts.- Provide support to maintain processes between legal department and other business units and collaborate to continuously improve the contracts review and administration process.- Provide support to maintain contracts lifecycle management system, and to implement contract policies.- Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and cross-functional teams during contract review and negotiation process acting as the main point of contact.**What You Will Bring**- 8 years of experience negotiating and managing software and vendor contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Software Licensing Agreements, Order Forms, DPAs) in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment required.- 8+ years of experience as well as experience working for a public technology company is preferred.- Bachelor's Degree or above - JD Degree is strongly preferred- Strong understanding of contractual terms, different types of applicable contracts, and business needs- Strong understanding of the laws of the United States- Strong understanding of global privacy laws- Experience with procurement contracts is required - IT/Technology procurement is preferred- Experience negotiating sales contracts; end-user license agreements, channel agreements, professional services agreement, etc. is a plus.- Ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment, be flexible to change and handle multiple requests- Strategic problem-solving skills with excellent legal and business judgment and the flexibility to take on a variety of tasks and challenges.- Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work and to drive projects to completion autonomously and as part of a team- Excellent communication skills.The ability to communicate well with internal stakeholders, as well as with vendors.- Experience with contracts life cycle management tools- Fluency in English, both written and verbal**About the Team**MeetKimberlee Madsen, Director, Commercial Contracts- I have worked at Nutanix for ten years and have over 20 years of experience in the tech industry working at both small start-ups and large Fortune 100 companies.- Leadership style/team culture: We are a very collaborative team, working closely with one another as well as cross-functionally with key stakeholders.We have built a reputation as the go-to team; a team that embraces innovation, new technology, and best practices business process to help Nutanix achieve great things.We work in a fast-paced environment that is client-focused.- Describe how you work with your team**:Hybrid and remote.
