Support us as a QUALITY PROJECT ENGINEER. DESCRIPTION Evaluate the supplier’s performance to meet customer quality targets. Collaborate with suppliers to meet all required activities and prevent deviations. Review supplier manufacturing processes and identify potential issues. Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and follow-up/validation of actions. Monitor production floor to track the progress and correct implementation of actions. Detect and promptly report potential risks. Gather information and ensure all documentation is uploaded into the relevant platforms. Participate actively in regular meetings to provide status updates to top management and during project reviews. REQUIREMENTS Education in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. 5+ years of industry experience with knowledge in production, quality, and manufacturing processes. At least 4 years as a Technical Expert in restraint systems (airbags). Project management skills. High proficiency in Quality Core Tools (MSA, P-FMEA). Good knowledge of measurement techniques, GD&T, Gage R&R. Strong knowledge of manufacturing process evaluation and root cause analysis tools (8Ds / PDCA). Experience with product/process audits according to standards like VDA, IATF16949, ISO 9001. Knowledge of quality processes and tools. ISO 19011 or VDA 6.3 certified Quality Auditor (desirable). Experience with KPIs and reporting. Ability to gather technical information, lessons learned, concepts, and customer requirements. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing). Proficiency in SAP (desirable). Willingness to travel within Mexico. Fluent in English. Position duration: 3 months.
