It Security Analyst

IT Security Analyst-**********Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages**: English**Preferred Qualifications****Cloud Native Security Analyst 2**Oracle is looking for a Security Analyst 2 to join our Cloud Native Engineering (CNSS) Security team within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure organization with the responsibility to define, assess and promote Oracle security and compliance goals across all Cloud Native environments.**Main Responsibilities**- Collaborate with Oracle's GBU Security team in assessing current security risks and compliance gap items- Work with GBU Security, CNSS Security and SaaS product teams to identify and close security gaps- Collaborate with CNSS Security Architecture in recommending additional security controls as needed- Help develop and revise Cloud Native security policy and standards- Assist in ongoing security research and the development of Cloud Native threat intelligence- Perform threat risk and vulnerability exposure assessments of all Cloud Native infrastructure- Configure, run and monitor automated security testing tools- Monitor for, identify and report potential security events in the environment- Generate analytical reports with actionable intelligence for internal consumption- Work with other CNSS service team members to help design, develop, test, and document internal security tools**Job Requirements**- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience- 4+ years of software and networking security or related technical experience- 3+ years of experience and knowledge of Linux operating systems- 3+ years of programming experience in dynamic languages such as Bash, Python or JavaScript.**Must have experience and competencies in the following**:- Strong understanding of cyber threats, malicious actor motivations and techniques- Understanding of security control standards such as ISO *****, NIST or CSA CCM.- Experience with formal security auditing process such as ISO*****, SOC2 or PCI-DSS.- Demonstrated knowledge of core security topics such as Assurance, Vulnerability Management and Threat Modeling- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to prioritize work- Proficiency in Linux server administration and configuration (Red Hat / Oracle Linux highly desirable)- Demonstrated ability to successfully complete complex projects with mínimal supervision- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities- Experience working in a team environment; ability to learn from your peers and accept criticism- Self-motivation to drive solutions to completion**Experience with the following is desirable**:- Cloud Native key concepts such as containerization, disposability, everything-as-code, etc.- Understanding of container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Agile and CI/CD.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Assists in executing security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.Assists in researching attempted efforts to compromise security protocols.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.Ability to travel as necessary.Preferred 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.**Oracle is an Affirmative Action-Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veterans status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.****Job**: Information Technology**Travel**: No**Location**: MX-MX,Mexico-Guadalajara/Zapopan**Job Type**: Regular Employee Hire**Organization**: Oracle
