TE Connectivity's Event Marketing team develops objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of internal and external company/customer or marketing events, including workshops, seminars, trade shows, product demonstrations, etc., to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads.They work with internal/external resources to obtain needed materials/services and negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors/partners.They partner with marketing, sales and product colleagues to identify key areas of focus and ensure documents and/or materials (promotional materials, product samples, etc.) is provided.They also provide onsite leadership to ensure all aspects of the event are executed properly and directs exhibit design program including production and follow up with attendants as required to ensure event success, optimize future events, and evaluate ROI.RESPONSIBILITIES- Preparing information for the Sales Team prior to the events to empower them to have productive conversations with current and potential customers- Partner with graphic designers to create effective marketing collateral to support the events (invitations or other collateral)- Co-ordinate with event partners on the booth layout and planning- Scheduling and contributing to meetings pre-event for preparation and scheduling and documenting the impact post event for reporting purposes.- Establish opportunities for cross BU event collaboration and promotions**What your background should look like**:- BA/ BS degree in Marketing or related technology field with experience in Event Marketing- Project management experience.- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) a must- Ability to influence internal business partners, external agency with whom no direct reporting relationship exists- We need someone who is okay with ambiguity (or vagueness) as the role evolves and strong in communications.That will help make the role effective faster.**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation**About TE Connectivity****What TE Connectivity offers**:We offer competitive total rewards compensation.Our commitment to our associates includes offering benefit programs that are comprehensive, competitive and will meet the needs of our associates.- Generous 401(k) Plan- Tuition Reimbursement- Benefits start on day one- Charity Donation Matching Program- Competitive Paid Time Off- Employee Resource Groups- Employee Stock Purchase Program- Healthcare for Associates and Families- Health and Wellness Incentives- Life Insurance and Disability ProtectionThroughout our Global reach and various Business Units, we take a balanced approach to the benefits we provide.Many benefits are company-paid, while others are available through associate contribution.Specific benefit offerings can vary by location.**EOE, Including Disability/Vets
