Established in ****, Connor Manufacturing, is a US-based company with manufacturing sites located in the Mexico, China, and Malaysia.Connor is a one-stop precision engineering solution provider for your stamped metals and metal fabrication needs.The markets we serve include Busbars for Electric Vehicles, Automotive, Heavy Truck, Data Communication, Consumer Electronics, Medical, Industrial & Renewable Energy, and High Temperature Clips.At Connor, quality, performance, precision, and people truly make a difference.We care about our customer's needs and operate globally to provide products and services effectively and efficiently.R**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** (Responsibilities which are highly specialized, require a large amount of time, have a limited number of people to perform task and/or the position exists primarily to perform the function.)**:- Work with sales and engineering team members to introduce new molds, tooling, and processes that meet all technical requirements and exceed customer expectations.- Provide support to production to improve injection process cycle time, scrap rete less than 3 % OEE, attainment and implement process improvement through Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts- Assist in the set-up, operation, trouble shooting, and repair of shop equipment.- Develop scientific based processes and generate documentation and controls to ensure efficient and optimum run consistency.- Identify and record any problems relating to injection molding machine, auxiliary equipment, injection molds, robot, product, process, or quality system.- Troubleshoot injection molding machine, molding process, tool issues, molding parts problems with scientific molding tools, take corrective actions plan and timelines.- Work closely with the maintenance and tool room department to develop preventive maintenance programs.- Maintain and improve production efficiency levels and metrics for operations (OEE, Scrap, Attainment, Labor, Efficiency)- Maintain and improve safety and quality (safety devices, guarding equipment, spare parts list, set-up instructions, and troubleshooting protocol).- Develop and oversee the layout for equipment, molds, and tooling storage: provide regular assessment of compliance to Production and Operations Managers.- Research, evaluate and justify purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment.- Work with tool makers for new tool qualifications and to determine new optimized parameters.- Launching and validating new injection mold, using scientific molding techniques and tools.- Develop and /or certify equipment processing, start-up, training, and process instructions and documents such as Work Instruction (WI), Injection Process Parameters (IPP), One Point Lesson (OPL), Visual aids, support process clarification, keeping all necessary documentation up to date.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $75,****** - $85,****** al mesBeneficios:- Estacionamiento gratuito- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vida- Vales de despensaTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasEscolaridad:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
