DescriptionOverview:The Software Engineering Manager shall be responsible to lead the Software Development Team in the country for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) ProductsCore Responsibilities:- Successfully lead mixed team of highly trained and newly graduated engineers in Guadalajara and Queretaro locations.- Oversee the development and timely software release for our embedded automotive products.- Ensure proper staffing following the hiring plan for the department under supervision.- Establish annual goals for the team members and ensure the achievement of those through proper tracking.- Rigorous tracking of the software quality and continued improvement of the software development processes.- Mentoring and training of software engineers in a dynamic ADAS software development.Core Capabilities:- Continuously maintain resource capacity planning- Establish personal and employee training plans, schedule training and track results.- Maintain a highly skilled work force and state of the art engineering environment.**Qualifications**:Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge of software development for embedded automotive systems.A minimum of three (3) years of team leadership experience is requiredProficient with C/C++ programming, CAN, Doors and MS Office ToolsExcellent customer and team skillsSubstantial experience in a quality focused style of software project managementAt least 5 years experience in embedded Software DevelopmentPreferred Qualifications:MS in Computer Science, MS in Computer Engineering, MS in Electrical EngineeringProficient with version control tools and method, preferably MKSMLC process comprehensionKnowledge of Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL)5 years of team leadership experience8 years of experience in embedded Software DevelopmentTravel:Must be willing to travel internationally, specifically to USA and EuropeApproximately 10% of time may be spent in other locationsContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.Founded in ****, the technology company offers safe, efficient, intelligent and affordable solutions for vehicles, machines, traffic and transportation.In ****, Continental generated sales of €37.7 billion and currently employs more than 192,000 people in 58 countries and markets.On October 8, ****, the company celebrated its 150th anniversary.
