At Walmart Labs, we’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead strategic initiatives, guide engineering teams, and deliver cutting‑edge solutions that power the world’s largest retailer. What will you do? Drive the execution of multiple business‑critical projects by identifying needs, removing roadblocks, and aligning priorities. Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of current systems, tools, and processes. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to shape technical strategies and deliver customer‑centric solutions. Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and digital transformation. What are we looking for? Language: Java Framework: Spring Boot Databases: SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4J Caching: Redis APIs & Web Services: Experience building and consuming RESTful services Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field + 6 years of experience, or Master’s degree + 4 years of experience in software engineering. Proven experience leading technology projects and mentoring engineers. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
