**Job Summary**Comply with customer Packaging System needs and Performance expectations through:- Effective and efficient System needs identification, development, training, installation and startup.- Continuous system performance assessment and improvement**Description of Key Activities/Responsibilities**:- Respond to customer requests for technical service (resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, programming and pneumatic problems)- Schemes for the sale of spare parts through audits or technical service- New / Rebuilt Packaging Machines project administration and execution, need identification and machine specification, acceptance protocol, installation and star up until customer acceptance- Develop and deliver training programs at start-up, identify training needs based on system audit or customer request- Identify customers spare part needs and assure supply- Documentation delivery (Manuals: mechanical, electrical, installation and maintenance, training, PLC program, other software, or electronic backups; confirmation signed by customer)- Inventory of spare parts in the warehouse and maintain minimum and maximum stock to guarantee the supply of spare parts- System Performance Assessment through:- Machine Audits (standard format, 2 per year standard, signed by customer)- Service (recommend, follow up on quote, and execute service; fill reports signed by customer)- Spare parts (recommend, follow-up on quote and delivery)- Training (recommend, follow-up on quote, and execute training; assistance list signed by customer- Customer Satisfaction Survey (feedback fomr customer on carton quality, machine performance and service)**Customer base**:- México, Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador & Perú- General suppliers and Subcontractors**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:- Mechanical / Electronic / Mechatronic engineer- 5 years experience in maintenance in a manufacturing and technical service environment.- Project management skills- Workshop experience- Machine manufacturing experience- PLC Programming knowledge / Siemens S5 & S7 /Alen Bradley RS Logix / ****- VDF Programming knowledge / Danfoss FC 302 & Alen Bradley- Knowledge Bosch servo motors / fault diagnosis- Mechanical Pneumatical/Electrical/Electronic knowledge- Experience managing customer relationships- Good communications skills.- Problem solving skills and improvement methodologies knowledge Working**Conditions & General Work Requirements**:- Travel- Work at various sites- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays- English 90% written and spokenPay: $420,****** per yearAbility to commute/relocate:- Tlalnepantla, Méx.: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)**Experience**:- Packaging: 4 years (preferred)- industrial mechanical maintenance: 4 years (preferred)- PLC Programming knowledge: 3 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)Willingness to travel:- 100% (preferred)
