Join to apply for the Podcast & Short-Form Video Editor role at Virtustant.Our Client is an Emmy® Award-winning video marketing agency that helps bold brands grow through the power of visual storytelling.They specialize in creating cinematic, high-quality video and podcast content for major organizations and high-growth brands.Their fastest-growing product is a Video Podcasting Program — a monthly system that helps brands produce authentic, omnichannel thought leadership content.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Podcast and Short-Form Video Editor to bring our client's stories to life through dynamic, platform-ready video edits.This role requires a versatile post-production professional who can handle the entire process — from cutting full-length podcast episodes to crafting high-performing short-form reels for social media.ResponsibilitiesEdit full-length video podcasts, ensuring clean cuts, balanced pacing, and consistent audio leveling.Create engaging short-form social media videos, selecting impactful moments for maximum engagement.Design and integrate motion graphics, including lower thirds, text animations, and logo treatments.Handle sound design and mixing, ensuring clarity and energy across dialogue, music, and ambient tracks.Select and mix music tracks that elevate the overall tone and message.Maintain brand consistency through visual storytelling and design.Collaborate with creative and production teams to deliver high-quality edits that meet deadlines.Continuously refine content quality and efficiency through feedback and performance insights.Required Experience and QualificationsProven experience in podcast and short-form video editing.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.Strong knowledge of audio leveling, pacing, and sound mixing.Experience designing and animating motion graphics.Ability to select, mix, and balance music for various tones and moods.Deep understanding of social media formats and storytelling techniques.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cinematic craftsmanship.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with high-end post-production workflows.Experience editing branded or corporate storytelling content.Knowledge of visual composition, typography, and color grading.Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.PersonalityDetail-oriented and quality-driven with a strong creative vision.Proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Adaptable and passionate about producing premium, cinematic content.Software & ToolsAdobe Premiere ProMotion graphics and visual effects toolsAudio mixing and mastering pluginsSalary and BenefitsPayment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.Opportunity to work with leading brands and creative teams.Career growth path toward leading client editing projects.Supportive, creative environment focused on storytelling excellence.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionDesignIndustriesMarketing ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Virtustant by 2x.Get notified about new Video Editor jobs in Latin America.#J-*****-Ljbffr
